Stone angel

So as none of you might know, I have a DeviantArt now, thanks to the prodding of Amber and Gage. My user is OneBlockade, my page is http://oneblockade.deviantart.com/. I will still post here. As a matter of fact, i'm going to run my pics i want to submit to DeviantArt through my art blog, and get some approval/nonapproval so my pics don't look TOO stupid on DA. Here's my first. I'm trying to get a stone angel statue.

This picture is very photoshopped, but at first it was a sketch (with shading!): The close-up view is much more... poetic.

Then i made it an actual stone texture, more like a statue using a new trick w/ Photoshop. Then, the dramatic effects.... Well... that's my question to u guys. Do i NEED dramatic effects? If so, what? I mean, I like it the way it is, seeing that was like, 20 minutes of my time well wasted, but come on, feedback? Well, i was playing around on PS and look! One dramatic effect!
